Title:
suspend does not resume properly, blank screen
Status in “acpi-support” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Sometimes resuming a suspend does not work.
This appears to happen more often if the suspend time is longer.
This problem was introduced with ubuntu 12.04.
When resuming the screen stays blank instead of presenting the password input.
I only see a mouse pointer. Actually the password input is there, I can enter the password (without seeing it) and by looking at the mousepointer I can state that I am logged in. I can touch the sidebar for example.
But I still have a blank screen just the pointer.
Also I can switch to the terminals (strg+alt+F1).
