The package appears to have worked as intended here; it's a bug that it
prompted you to submit a bug report afterwards, but this is the first
time I've ever seen that happen so it doesn't look like it's a common
enough problem for us to try to suppress this bug reporting prompt for
this case.

It would not kill the encrypted data, but you would not be able to
access it without reinstalling cryptsetup.

Bug description:
  Appears while starting.

  Backgroudn info: Installed Ubuntu 12.04, switched to Kubuntu with
  removing all packages from Ubuntu, switched to Xubuntu while removing
  all packages from Kubuntu. During this remove I have disabled removing
  cryptswap because my harddisk is encrypted and I thought that this
  will "kill" my encrypted data.
