Yes.  The previous message indicating "Patch applied to:
aptitude_0.6.6-1ubuntu1.debian" was not saying that the ubuntu package
has been fixed, rather, that the patch does apply to that version.

You should apply the patch yourself or encourage your distribution to
include a more recent version of aptitude.
