The intention was to have linux-virtual (a meta package) which should be
used to pull in the minimal kernel and the headers package (generic),
while linux-generic would depend on the minimal kernel, the headers and
the extra package with all other modules. But it seems the dependencies
are not as they should be, so linux-virtual pulls in everything.

i386 installs:
Diskspace used 672megs, over 500m limit
modules used 109megs, over 40m limit
x64 installs:
diskspace used 816megs, over 500m limit
modules used 143megs, over 40m limit
