[Bug 1010645] [NEW] XUBUNTU 12.04 keeps crashing during installation

Public bug reported:

Tried a clean install of xubuntu12.04 from the live-cd. Live-cd is ok,
because installation was successful on another pc. After some time the
installer stops due to a fatal error.
