You're right. Then I only had to disable the extras repos.

Should I just mark this invalid?

I honestly thought using the "-d -c" suffix the update manager would
ignore software sources settings, even if set to "never" ;^/

  Performing Quantal iso/upgrade testing and Lubuntu PP -> QQ fails
  outright. Terminal says:
