When I said shortly after I believe I was referring to bug 790498 where
the upgradestatus indicated 2 days ago but the error date was actually
from those 2 days ago. So I think all of these did happen during a
dist-upgrade.

Title:
grub-pc failed to install/upgrade: exit status 1 - frontend: Fatal IO
error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0.
Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: grub2
Update manager attempted to update my system but hung with questions
for grub. When I restarted my computer the version.16 failed to start
and the system reverted back to the shell. I was able to do an 'ctrl'
'alt' 'delete' and chose the older.14 and got my computer started up.
Went to update manager to try rerunning updates but got an error
message stating that I must "manually" run 'sudo dpkg--configure-a'.
I am new to linux and do not know how to perform these steps properly.
