Bug description:
I had 8.04 successfully installed and attempted to install 12.04
alongside. After installation and reboot, computer would not reboot
at all. I then attempted to install 12.04 by itself and received a
message that the installation stopped and could not continue. The
computer is a compaq presario 2500, pentium 4 processor, 2.4 ghz,
1gigabyte of memory.
