  apt configuraton problem during CD install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  "an attempt to configure apt to install additional packages from the
  CD failed" error message during 12.04 CD installation.  Continuing on
  does give "remove media and press enter' message, but when machine re-
  boots hard drive activity ceases and the machine hangs.
