this bug should be against the ralink firmware package since it
obviously misses a "Replaces:" entry in debian/control, definitely not a
debian-installer bug...

  Testing Ubuntu server and Mini.iso 20120723 the installation fail from CDrom or Usb key. The bug is not reproducible if performed in VM, with the pc wired or skipping the networking.
