Title:
there should be a way to bring forward backgroung repository update
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
It is really frustating to wait for background update to finish. At
times it hogs the bandwidth when some urgent work is to be done. There
should be a way to bring it to foreground to either cancel it, or
atleast know the progress.
