[Bug 878062] Re: libgtkmm-2.4.so.1 cannot open shared object file

I just came across this bug on a fresh install of 12.04 which was fully
updated after installation . I installed 12.04 via a USB flash drive on
my parents machine so I wonder if using this installation method (as
opposed to installing via a CD/DVD) is the reason why this is happening?

  Ubuntu 11.10
  gparted : 0.8.1-1ubuntu4
