** Description changed:

- Tried to install Ubuntu from USB stick created with Unetbootin on Mac
- OS-X. Target platform is Intel quad-core i7 @3.6GHz, with 32GB ram.
- Installing onto a SATA-drive with a single 20GB partition (reiserfs),
