Public bug reported:

update-manager 1:0.167, Ubuntu Q

1. In a new Ubuntu installation, launch Software Updater for the first
time.

What you see: "Updated software has been issued since Ubuntu 12.10 was
released. Do you want to install it now?"

What you should see: Something like "Updated software has been issued
since this Ubuntu alpha was released. Do you want to install it now?"

This is one example of the general problem that Ubuntu Y.MM alphas and
betas claim to be Ubuntu Y.MM.

** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
     Assignee: Matthew Paul Thomas (mpt)
         Status: New
