autopkgtest of update manager fails on Quantal with the following
message on stderr [1]

nose.plugins.cover: ERROR: Coverage not available: unable to import
coverage module

python-coverage is not available for python3 and per DEP8 specification
[2] a message on stderr is considered to have failed.
