[Bug 1023697] [NEW] Custom install failed to install grub on Raid 0 boot partition

Public bug reported:

12.04 AMD-64 LTS custom installation failed. Unable to install grub on
/dev/mapper/isw_ccifjiiifa_RAID-0p5 RAID 0 /boot partition on the only
hard disk on my HP envy 17 laptop. Similar to bug #997885 except on RAID
0 instead of RAID 1. Apparently Grub won't install on Raid 0 or Raid 1
hard disks. Showstopper. Please fix.
