  no splash at boot

Status in “plymouth” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  On 12.04; no plymouth splash at boot - only on shutdown.  Using
  nVIDIA; applied the manual nomodeset fix that worked in 10.04, 10.10.
