apport (1.91-0ubuntu1) precise; urgency=low

  * New upstream release:
   [...]
    - Support /etc/apport/whitelist.d/ similarly to /etc/apport/blacklist.d/,
for cases like installer environments where only crashes of a few selected
      programs should be reported.

Title:
only keep apport running for installer crashes

Status in “apport” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in “casper” package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: casper

We currently disable apport on stable releases for various reasons:
  https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport#How%20to%20enable%20apport

However, casper re-enables it on the live system, mainly to be able to
report installer crashes. However, we should only limit that to
installer failures, since reporting general desktop-ish crashes is
moot. Packages are almost guaranteed to be out of date, which causes
  confusion and frustration.
