Title:
bzr-lpreview-body from launchpad ppa blocks python 2.6 install on
  natty by using site-packages

Status in Bazaar plugin to provide review message bodies:
  Fix Released
Status in “bzr” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I installed natty on a new partition, then installed bzr from bzr
daily ppa. Then I tried to setup Launchpad development, which needs
python 2.6. Python 2.6 fails to install because bzr has put files in
site-packages. I had to uninstall bzr, install python 2.6, then
install bzr again to get past this.

When it failed to install python2.6-minimal, apt suggested that bzr
should stick its files in dist-packages instead of site-packages,
which presumably would have allowed the python 2.6 install on natty to
  continue fine.
