after this failed install, i have since not been able to recover my
windows vista, at all. i have very important files on this, ie, my
son's soccer game videos that cannot be replaced.
right now the RAID5 array status at bios boot time is "Verify" and
that has me worried. until some solution comes along i consider the
bug to be a showstopper

had identical installer crash 4 times today from downloaded kubuntu
