Bug description:
  Using neocomplcache as a script I get the following errors when using
  vim-gnome

  Error detected while processing function <SNR>63_on_moved_i..neocomplcache#do_auto_complete..neocomplcache#get_complete_results..neocomplcache#util#mb_strlen:

  It is important to note that these errors do not happen with other vim
  variants on ubuntu, also the error doesn't appear to happen on gnome
  variants on other distributions.
