Title:
Handshake for SSL client authentication fails
Status in “openssl” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
The OpenSSL library in Hardy / 8.04 LTS, version 0.9.8g, contains a
bug which causes the handshake to fail when SSL client authentication
is enabled. It seems to be an old and known bug, but somehow it's
still present in Hardy. More information about the bug can be found
here: http://www.hiawatha-webserver.org/weblog/24
