What's a dist-upgrade? How do I run it?
If that means upgrading to the latest distribution, I have already the latest distribution installed (11.10)

Title:
Update Manager shows updates that can't be selected
Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Update Manager shows four available updates under "Release Update".
The checkbox next to the title "Release Updates" itself is checked, but the checkbox next to the four items under it are all unchecked and I can't check them. If I click on them nothing happens.
Below it says "There are no updates to install".
If these are updates to packages that are not installed, they
shouldn't be shown. If they can't be installed for some reason, an
error message should be shown telling the reason.
