[Bug 914590] [NEW] distr-upgrade crashes in the end process

Public bug reported:

After a error recently reported during the python-central installation.
The dist-upgrade said is not possible to install the upgrades and the
system may be unusable. I was trying to finish the upgrade from 10.04 to
10.10 using kubuntu.
