Title:
Update-manager should not require authentication password in Precise

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Installed using full-disk partitioning using Precise Pangolin Xubuntu
alternate-amd64.iso image. After installation, I choose Menu -> system
-> Update-manager, clicked check, found 46 updates to be installed.
Clicking on install results in an authentication request for admin
password. clicking the update-manager icon in the notification area
and clicking on "Install Updates" does not require the password be
entered. This inconsistency is confusing for all users.
