That argument flawed. The default install does not contain a full libreoffice install (for example base is missing). If presenter console shall be included, there need to be better reasons for it. This would need discussion as per:
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/desktop-p-default-apps
(or a followup for p+1)

Title:
libreoffice should ship by default with the presenter console
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Status in “ubuntu-meta” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: libreoffice
When Ubuntu is installed LibreOffice is installed as well.
Unfortunately the presenter console plugin in is not installed. This
plug in is, according to the LibreOffice team, a part of LibreOffice
and it does ship as part of the install file for the other platforms
(Windows and Mac OS).
This is a basic feature that isn't present by default in the Ubuntu
installation. Normal users have no way to install it since they are
not aware (or made aware by Ubuntu) of it's existence.
