  installer crashes during install for both dvd and flash installs

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  When installing the latest daily build, the other day, the installer
  crashed towards the tail end of the install.  It did that for both the
  flash install and from a DVD install.   The only way I could get it to
  install was to install a fresh copy of 11.10 and upgrade from there.
  I am pretty sure this may have been mentioned before now, but it is
  not fixed yet.
