[Bug 668077] Re: Important security updates are not automatically installed

I am using xubuntu 11.04 and the bug exists in that installation. The
red icon of update notifier shows there are security updates available,
but they are not installed automatically. Here password is not prompted.
I see no effect in the setting in software-properties-gtk.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: software-properties-gtk

  When the radio button "Install security updates without confirmation"
  is highlighted, under Software Sources --> Updates, Security updates
  should be installed automatically. They are not.

  Running Ubuntu 10.10
