It looks like you might have the CD-ROM set up in your sources file.  Try commenting it out and see if it solves the problem.

Bug description:
  Using the updater, it always presents a boxed message "Failed to download repository information"
  This is accompanied by a "details" click on which shows additional  failed jobs
  message:  W:Failed to fetch cdrom://Ubuntu 11.11012)/dists/oneiric/restricted/binary-i386/Packages  Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT. apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs
