https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Precise%20Upgrade%20Testing%20Dashboard/job/precise-upgrade-lucid-main/ARCH=amd64,LTS=lts,PROFILE=main-all,label=upgrade-test/30/artifact/lts-main-all-amd64/main.log shows that phonon-backend-gstreamer is being successfully upgraded as part of the test with no further issues.  So either this has been resolved in the phonon dependency chain, or in update-manager as part of an unrelated fix.  Either way, no further action seems to be needed here.
