Title:
  "Applying Changes" window keeps resizing

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
When updated packages are being installed the "Applying Changes"
window expands and then contracts when it encounters a package name
that exceeds the anticipated width that the default window is set for.

This is annoying and looks amateurish, either make the window big
enough to handle the maximum package name length (if there is such a
thing) or have it remain at the larger width.
