assertion error in copy_all if /cdrom was unmounted

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: ubiquity

I was running the ubuntu lucid lynx alpha 3 live cd from my hdd
(copied all files and made a new grub entry). I used the "sudo umount
-l -r -f /cdrom" command, which would let me install lucid into
another partition. when I finished filling my details, it started the
  partitioning and then ubiquity crashed.
