Do you have a proxy configured or something like that?
Or is your connection very flaky?

Given that it works then you call apt-get directly suggests to me that
muon messes something up, but i don't want to play bug-ping-pong now…

  New

Bug description:
  Hey!

  When I try to update/upgrade my Kubuntu 11.10 with muon I get error message. Same error message occur also when I change from/to mainserver to swedish one, in the repo. I did take a screenshot on the problem:

  Same problem with both muon 1.2.1 and 1.2.3. It does not give any
  error message when I run sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade
  from konsole.
