Title:
  crash during installation of ubuntu

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
During selection of keyboard layout, the crash happens.

About the context, I tried to install ubuntu 11.10 on top of an
existing ubuntu 10.04 but with a different configuration of hard
drive. For the 10.04, I used a custom config (as I did with my old
mandriva), and I wanted to shift to standard configuration of ubuntu
  installation.
