Title:
dbus restart fails because of stale pid file
Status in “dbus” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Doing "service dbus restart" does fail, because the pid file in
/var/run/dbus/pid is not removed before starting.
Doing service dbus stop && rm/var/run/dbus/pid && service dbus start
does succeed.
I would expect restart do work.
