Title:
Update Manager displays wrong version during upgrade to intrepid

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: update-manager-core

I was upgrading from hardy to intrepid beta and Update Manager (0.87.30) showed the message "Updating Ubuntu to version 8.04 LTS", but intrepid version is 8.10.
I'm using Portuguese language packs, but I don't believe that's the problem. Can anyone confirm if it happens in another language?
