Thanks for your report.

This is caused by missing dependencies in gwibber
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of ubuntu-desktop:
 ubuntu-desktop depends on gwibber; however:
  Package gwibber is not installed.

This will be fixed on gwibber builds on i386 which is currently blocked on dependency wait
