*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 894768 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/894768
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1918587
WORKAROUND: Although this does not fix the problem, it is a workaround. When installing from Ubiquity, uncheck "Install Third Party ...".
This is a bug from alpha 1 (STILL IN alpha 2, CONFIRMED by me).
This bug crashed the installer twice for me.
