The package is becoming corrupted on your system some how during the
install process. This can happen due to memory or hard disk issues.
One way to complete the install would be to choose not to download
updates and third party software and see if that works better.

Title:
Installs to: "installing languages" and quits (three times now)

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I've used two disks that I have downloaded, and the install quits at
about the same place . I have put it on another machine and it works
  ok. This one is a pentium 111 8oo mhz , 1 gig ram, 2- 40gb hd's, 1 for
the program, 1 for windows , and I have tried three cd-rom players.
When it quits, it has told me three different problems. 1, i need to
run a cooler machine, 2, it couldn't install a file, and this time it
just quit and said to send a bug report in-- Here it is!! Maybe we can
get this loaded on this machine some how. I don't want a VM, i want it
on a drive of it's own. Thanx
