  Happened while "Update Manager" was running.
  Last lines in update manager console:

  Paramétrage de firefox-gnome-support (10.0+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.2) ...
  Paramétrage de firefox-locale-en (10.0+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.2) ...
  Paramétrage de firefox-locale-fr (10.0+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.2) ...
  Paramétrage de grub-common (1.98-1ubuntu13) ...

  Paramétrage de grub-pc (1.98-1ubuntu13) ...

  Three lines were added every time I clicked on "Next" while update manager was asking:
  "GRUB installation failed. Continue?"
  And this is continuously looping again whatever drive I chose in the next screen: /dev/sda or /dev/sda4

  Hopethis helps.
  And hope my system will accept to start up in a few minutes...
