Actually, there is an issue here since you can not install from the cd
menu. If the menu can be accessed and there is a selection to install
instead of try Xubuntu, the installer should not go direct to the live
session. The ability to use "maybe-ubiquity" to install should not mean
the menu does not work.

Bug description:
While doing the alpha2 test of xubuntu precise pangolin if you try to
choose the direct install from the boot menu, not trying the live
session, just trying to install, it will send you to the live session
anyway, this happens if you choose any language on the boot prompt.
