Title:
possible to use a number for your computer's name
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
In the "Who are you?" screen it is possible to enter a number for
"Your computer's name" if you follow these steps.
1) Enter your name
2) Enter '99' as your computer's name
3) Observe 'hostname already exists on the network'
4) Enter your username
5) Start typing in the password field
6) Observe a green check by the hostname / 99 / your computer's name
I discovered this using ubiquity version 2.9.15 from Precise Alpha 2.
