Title:
  cd install: truncated descriptions

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  installing (x)ubuntu from CD, the installlation progress has three elements:
  * the description header
  * the progress bar
  * the description details:

  The description details are truncated, if the text is too long (I used
  the german version). To be honest, I absolutely hate the nervous
  resizing windows in KDE, but that's better than "nothing".

  In my small mind, whenever the text is too long, its displayed
  immediatly. And if the following text is small enough for the
  "standard window format" again, that description line is updated, and
  the rest fades out (including the old window frame). A s a compomise
  between showing what's possible in standard size, and what might be of
  interest.

  Greetings!
