  dbus pre-start fails on system start up

Status in “dbus” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: dbus

  This bug looks like bug #430611.

  On start up, I got message "init: dbus pre-start process (577)
  terminated with status 1".

  However, if manually start dbus with:
  # service dbus start

  I got "start: Job failed to start", and was unable to start it.

  p.s. I install ubuntu 9.10 in VirtualBox 3.0.8.
