All I remember was it was one of the 32 bit libs that I manually
removed.  I think I had manually added it at some point to support some
app under wine.  Apparently it was somehow screwing up the upgrade.


If you are seeing this, try running dpkg --get-selections and prune anything you don't really need before upgrading.  But the installer should have figured this out itself.
