  Unable to install ubuntu 11.10

Status in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I  used the USB installer to install 11.10 AMD desktop on Compaq
  laptop based on AMD64X2 running Win 7. Installation failed and I got
  the error message "WindowsBackend object has no 'iso-path' ".

  Can someone please tell me what is wrong and give a solution.
