Tested with netboot from 12.04, works fine here. Will test with earlier
revisions as time allows.

Title:
  Unable to get a shell

Status in “network-console” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: network-console

  I appended anna/choose_modules=network-console to a PXE installation
of 10.04, and provided a password when asked.

I can successfully SSH in to the installer environment, and get
prompted with three choices (Start installer, Start installer (expert
  mode), Start shell).

When I try to start a shell, my SSH connection is dropped.
