Public bug reported:
Running the 11.10 32 bit desktop installer from a USB drive, installing to a hard drive:
/dev/sdb4 is the target for /, type ext4
/dev/sdb2 is swap
Installer comes back with the error message,
"The attempt to mount a file system with type swap in SCSI3 (0,0,0), partition #6 (sdb) at none failed"
It offers to let me resume partitioning. However, the edit options in
the partition manager are grayed out. I am not even able to tell it
which mount points I want to use.
If I elect to continue, it simply hangs. I can select the time zone,
etc, but the actual install progress never continues.
** Affects: base-installer (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
