Title:
default kernel gives error "bad magic number"
Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Selecting the default kernel gives error "bad magic number". This
happened after upgrading to the -19 kernel. It's still happening with
the -21 kernel. I did not edit the conf file, this just started
happening after an upgrade. I waited for it to resolve itself with an
update, but it hasn't. I added to an old forum post about someone
having the same problem in 10.10 but I was told to open a new forum
thread. I opened a new bug instead, since it's obviously a bug, since
it happened on its own.
