  Restart shouldn't be the only option, ever

Status in “update-manager” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  After some mayor updates, the update manager notifies that the updates
  will take make effect after restarting the computer. This is shown in
  a dialog box which only has a restart button, and does not have a
  close button. This can't be! The user must be free to decide whether
  he will restart now or later.
